About VotersDesk
VotersDesk is an independent, non-partisan guide to Nigeria's elections. Our aim is simple: every Nigerian voter should be able to find, in one trustworthy place, who is running on their ballot, what they stand for, and where that information comes from.
Information about candidates is scattered across INEC documents, party websites, social media and news reports. It is hard to find, harder to compare, and often impossible to verify, especially for Senate, House and State Assembly races, where most voters cannot name who is running.
We bring that record together, label where every fact comes from, and treat every candidate and party the same way. Then we keep following through: after the election, we track what winners promised against what they deliver.
Same layout, same fields, same sourcing standard. Lists are alphabetical unless you choose to sort them. Party colours appear only inside a party's own badge, never as page decoration.
Every fact links to where it came from. Official records, party documents and reporting are labelled separately, so you can judge the source yourself.
We never tell you who to vote for. Quiz results, comparisons and user polls are tools for reading the record, not advice.
Anyone can report an error on any profile. Confirmed fixes are listed on the corrections page with the date.
Quiz answers and your voting plan stay on your phone and are never sent to us.
VotersDesk is not part of INEC, any government body or any political party. For voter registration, polling units, election dates and official results, INEC is always the final authority.
Our user poll reflects VotersDesk users who choose to answer, not the Nigerian public.
