Right of reply

If VotersDesk names you, you can answer. Confirmed replies are published in full, next to what we published.

How it works

Anyone named on VotersDesk can reply: a candidate, their campaign, their party or their lawyer.
We confirm who sent it through the campaign's or party's official channels before publishing.
Confirmed replies are published word for word, under the record or story, with your name and role. We only shorten for length or legal reasons, and say so when we do.
We decline replies that attack other candidates, contain personal data about others, or are unrelated to what we published.
If your reply shows we got something wrong, we correct the record and log it publicly as well.
Your email and phone number are never published.
